This light roast coffee has a rich fruity, citrusy and fresh acidic aroma. It has always delighted specialty coffee lovers at home and in cafés. The roast is very light, meaning that the roast is finished before the first crack of the coffee seed. The roast is done with a “slow roast” profile, where the seed is rolled out to its core, forming the “body” of the coffee, and of course a little roast aroma. The roasting is done slowly and lightly, so that the roast aroma does not mask the other characteristics of the bean, and the charming properties of Balmaadi farm coffee will taste perfect in your cup. Balmaadi Farmhouse Coffee also has a darker espresso roast at Forest Roastery if you use an espresso machine, a moca pot or are otherwise just a fan of darker roasts. The lighter roast is the most honest, as you can’t hide anything behind it, but often the darker roast tastes great too, it’s all about taste preferences and extraction method.
