The product is an unroasted green coffee bean for home coffee roasters.

Bali Kintamani is a coffee grown on the slopes of a volcano called Bakur and is infused with the volcanic life force of the Isle of the Gods. The soil is very mineral rich and fertile and can be tasted in an aromatic cup of Bali coffee. Notes of brown sugar, milk chocolate, dried strawberry, yak wood, roasted almonds can be found in Bali coffee, and the round acidity of the cup finishes with a syrupy mouthfeel. Bali coffee is an impressively sweet and full-flavoured finish.

The coffee of the Island of the Gods is grown by a local community of small farmers of ’single origin’. They have been trained, instructed and supervised for decades by Karana, a local speciality coffee producer. Karana is backed by Rodney, an entrepreneur and coffee expert who has worked in the coffee industry for more than 30 years and moved to Bali from Australia. Karana’s other entrepreneur is Edi from Bali. The exceptionally long-standing and dedicated collaboration of local smallholders with speciality coffee professionals has produced coffee of the highest quality. Petteri from Forest Roastery met the producers in 2017, and from that meeting the seed was planted to offer this coffee to Finnish and European coffee professionals. This seed of an idea has now been harvested in 2025. And it is this great collaboration between small producers and the fruit of their labour that we want to share for you to continue with your own roasting skills.
